Legrand was founded in 1865 in Limoges, France, by Frédéric Legrand, and has grown into one of the world's leading electrical and digital building infrastructure groups, listed on Euronext Paris as part of the CAC 40 index. Now established in around 90 countries with products distributed in nearly 180, and generating roughly 85% of its sales internationally, Legrand supplies wiring devices, circuit protection, cable management and building automation products — including its well-known Mosaic modular wiring device range — to installers and electrical contractors worldwide.
