Easun Reyrolle Parts & Automation Components
Easun Reyrolle was incorporated in 1974 at Hosur, Tamil Nadu, India, promoted by the late K. Easwaran and Hari Easwaran along with associates, commencing production in 1980. The company's name reflects a 25% equity partnership with Reyrolle Parsons — a wholly owned subsidiary of Rolls-Royce Engineering, UK, itself tracing back to A. Reyrolle & Company, founded in 1886 in Hebburn, England by French electrical engineer Alphonse Reyrolle. Reyrolle Parsons was later absorbed into VA TECH of Austria, which was in turn acquired by Siemens, leading Reyrolle Parsons to divest its Indian equity stake in 2007. Today an independent Indian public company with manufacturing facilities in Hosur, Bangalore and Chennai, Easun Reyrolle supplies protection relays, switchgear and substation automation solutions for electrical power transmission and distribution, with international arms spanning Singapore, Sharjah, Canada, Germany and Australia.
