Crouzet was founded in 1921 and is headquartered in Valence, France, growing into a manufacturer of electromechanical and electronic components for demanding applications across aerospace, transportation, energy, building and industrial machinery sectors. The company passed through Thomson-CSF before being acquired by Schneider Electric in 2000 alongside Swiss motion control specialist SIG Positec, then changed hands multiple times over the following decade — sold to Custom Sensors & Technologies in 2014, partly acquired by Sensata Technologies in 2015, and taken over by LBO France in 2018 before its most recent ownership under Bpifrance Investissement and Tikehau Capital.
