Who is Bender?
Bender was founded in 1946 in Grünberg, Hesse, Germany, by engineering graduate Walther Hans Bender, who patented the ISOMETER — the world's first insulation monitoring device — based on an idea he'd developed in 1937 for improving electrical safety in mining operations.
